Senior Pastor

I have been at Peace Lutheran since August 2011. I first served as a Synodically Authorized Minister (SAM) from August 2011 through February 2012. Starting in March 2012, I served as a Theological Education for Emerging Ministries (TEEM) minister and intern until I was ordained in March 2016. I am currently the senior pastor and provide Word and Sacrament ministry to the congregation.

Michelle Schwab

Youth Coordinator

I have been with Peace Lutheran since February 2018 as the Youth Coordinator. I oversee the Sunday School and Vacation Bible School programs and volunteers. In January 2023, I started a Luther League program for 9th through 12th graders. I also assist with confirmation when needed. I am also a member of the G.I.F.T.S. Program and have completed the Western Synod Lay Preaching Academy. With that completion, I help lead church worship when needed.

Kathy Mauch

Administrative Assistant

I've been a member of Peace for since 1985. In 2014, I became the Administrative Assistant for Peace Lutheran Church. I prepare weekly bulletins, put together articles for the monthly newsletter, change the banners, flowers, and parament of the church in accordance with the church calendar, organize musicians, lead services when needed, organize benefits including the German Dinner and perform other duties as needed. In July 2020, I started preparing the weekly Worship Plans and PowerPoint Presentations and live streaming the weekly services.  I am also second in charge of the Lincoln, ND Community Cupboard within the church.

Marlene Thurn

Financial Secretary

I have been with Peace Lutheran Church from the very beginning of the mission ministry in Lincoln and my husband, Gerold, and I are charter members. I am the financial secretary of the church and originally started the volunteer position so many years ago, I cannot recall exactly when. I pay the bills for the church and report the financials to the church council monthly.
